Job Centre Plus: Fit for the Future – Lean Conference

We were very pleased to work with the Job Centre Plus and the Department for Work & Pensions last month to produce the Fit for the Future Conference at the Marriott Bristol City Centre...

  • Production and Management of AV/ICT, including design and production of PowerPoint questionnaire.
  • Staging, PA, main projection and plasma screens around the sides
  • Voting pads on the tables (the Conference will be interactive and people will be required to vote on topics throughout the day

Event objectives: “To work jointly on the understanding of Lean, its place within the DWP Change Programme and how Lean can be used without people to continuously review and streamline the processes focusing efforts on the customer”

  • deliver information to delegates about Lean
  • raise awareness and share knowledge
  • help to identify and deliver a leadership role in respect of Lean initiatives within Job Centre Plus
  • better understand the way forward

Target audiences: client employees (managers and teams) from various departments

Event strategy: Interactive Keypads are an easy-to-use tool that give your presentations greater impact by helping you stay in touch with the needs of your audience. By making PowerPoint® interactive, our keypads enable you to connect with your audience and find out what they are thinking in real time. More than just a simple voting system, our keypads allow you to quickly record, track and analyse audience responses to increase feedback for a more effective meeting.

  • Audience Engagement
  • Quantitive Audience Feedback
  • Interactive Participation

Results and evaluation: Two Excel reports show how each individual handset voted and the number of people voting on each option. Client acknowledged that “the support [yesterday] was great, the staff really enjoyed the voting buttons etc and I would like to pass my thanks on to you and the team for making the day such a success.
