  • deliver information to delegates about Lean
  • raise awareness and share knowledge
  • help to identify and deliver a leadership role in respect of Lean initiatives within Job Centre Plus
  • better understand the way forward

Target audiences: client employees (managers and teams) from various departments

Event strategy: Interactive Keypads are an easy-to-use tool that give your presentations greater impact by helping you stay in touch with the needs of your audience. By making PowerPoint® interactive, our keypads enable you to connect with your audience and find out what they are thinking in real time. More than just a simple voting system, our keypads allow you to quickly record, track and analyse audience responses to increase feedback for a more effective meeting.

  • Audience Engagement
  • Quantitive Audience Feedback
  • Interactive Participation

Results and evaluation: Two Excel reports show how each individual handset voted and the number of people voting on each option. Client acknowledged that “the support [yesterday] was great, the staff really enjoyed the voting buttons etc and I would like to pass my thanks on to you and the team for making the day such a success.

L’Oréal Matrix Conference 2008

June 2008 witnessed the annual conference for hairdressing brand, Matrix. The location was the beautiful coastline of Dubrovnik in Croatia.

The primary focus of the event was to review achievements and results that have been delivered so far in 2008 and plan for the future. Prior to the launch of the new photographic collection “Trend” Sounds Commercial delivered a competition

based on the successful television series “The weakest link”.

With Matrix being such a high profile brand within the L’Oréal Professionnel Products division, this event was key for industry professionals to recognize the achievements over the past year, whilst looking forward to new products and ranges. It was Sounds Commercial’s task to make this event a ‘cut above the rest’!

The remit was to devise a conference programme that was slick, clear and entertaining. The event needed to motivate and communicate key messages informing the sales teams of new launches, the company’s performance to date, along with the goals and direction for the coming year. This was achieved by a bespoke branded stage set, with stunning photo quality prints of the new ‘Trends all produced from our in-house Printworks department. Exciting visuals were incorporated into presentations. Bespoke video pieces were created from conception at our in-house editing and production studios.

The event was a huge success from both the client and delegates point of view. Sounds Commercial work regularly within the EU, and this meant that we were able to offer Matrix the best possible service. We pride ourselves on attention to detail and aim to exceed expectations… We definitely did just that in June 2008!

JISC Conference 2008

Sounds Commercial were the appointed Event Managers for the high profile JISC 2008 Conference at the ICC Birmingham, in April 2008.

Featuring a keynote address by Lord Putnam of Bloomsbury, the event consisted of main plenary sessions, six breakout workshops throughout the morning and a further six in the afternoon together with an exhibition for fifty stands.

The event team at Sounds Commercial project managed every element of this event, including a VIP dinner, a team dinner and accommodation as required. The event involved the pre-registration of 800 delegates and 100 exhibitors; the preparation of all delegate bags and name badges; the design of exhibitor floor plans and exhibitor registration, together with full on site event management on
the day.

The event was a huge success for presenters, delegates and exhibitors alike and was deemed their best event ever, and as a result Sounds Commercial have been appointed the Event Management company for their 2009 Conference at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
